Metalfestival in Bruges.
Date: 26 (en 27) september '26
Location: Entrepot and JH Comma. Our social media provides latest news:
We hope you get in the mood by some of the tracks of bands performing Hellfort. No festival without the support of our sponsors.
Therefore we explicitly put them on the first page of our website. With the support of:
site by digivu.be
We have two stages, six bands on both.
Entrepot stage has a 1000 max. audience capacity, but we're realistic, that won't happen. (Unless you start buying tickets like it was the last Slayer concert. Well, we happended to see them front row the very last time at Graspop)
Comma stage can have an audience of max. 250. We'll start up the festival on this stage, before bigger audience turns up. We'll put smaller or niche bands there too.So yes, that means you can see all bands because they are largely sequential. For timing reasons there wil be bands starting to play when on the other stage the other band hasn't finished. So, if you really want to be front stage of a band on Comma stage, you'll have to leave Entrepot earlier. Here below, you'll find them in order of announcements. Once the whole line-up is public, we'll put them in order of playing time.Headliner is:

When Fleddy Melculy dropped ‘T-shirt van Metallica’ in 2016, many thought: funny. Viral. That’ll pass.It didn’t.What followed was HELGIË — nearly 10,000 copies sold in Belgium — a chart-busting debut that proved this wasn’t just satire with distortion. It was a band with riffs, hooks and the guts to scream in Dutch. And then came the live shows.Because that’s where Fleddy Melculy really happens.A Fleddy concert isn’t a gig. It’s the crowd shouting punchlines like they’re sacred scripture.
It’s circle pits that feel suspiciously like cardio.Fun? Absolutely.
Tight as hell? Sure. They’ve played more than 250 shows across the Benelux: stages at festivals like Graspop Metal Meeting, Pukkelpop, Pinkpop and Alcatraz Metal Festival.Yes, the lyrics are witty.
But underneath the humor sits a rock-solid metal machine that knows exactly what it’s doing. They even have a rehearsal especially for Hellfort, end of june, when they open for Iron Maiden, Epica and Testament. They turn a crowd into a choir, so...
Bring your voice.
You won’t leave with it.

Where most bands play metal, God Dethroned also forged it.Active since 1990, these Dutch veterans have long outgrown the need to prove anything. Decades of touring, recording and surviving the natural selection of extreme metal have turned God Dethroned into craftsmen of the highest order. Every riff has purpose. Every blast beat knows exactly when to hit and when to pull back. Nothing is accidental, it's death metal played by people who understand tension, dynamics and restraint just as well as sheer violence. They know brutality hits harder when it’s controlled. With their recent material they prove to be anything but a legacy act. God Dethroned still sounds hungry, precise and focused. This is what happens when experience meets discipline and is delivered with the authority of true veterans. Please welcome God Dethroned like we do, with our utmost respect.

Some bands create songs. No Kings Allowed builds worlds.Formed by musicians from the Netherlands and Belgium, this six-piece outfit treats heavy music as a canvas rather than a rulebook. Deathcore aggression, metalcore structure and cinematic, almost symphonic layers are blended into songs that feel expansive and emotionally thought out. Chaos is there, sure — but it’s shaped and breathing. In just two years they released over 30 songs, passed 300,000 streams and dropped A New Era, a record that sounded confident far beyond its age. Rather than repeating themselves, they pushed forward. Dark Reign is darker and more personal, shaped by setbacks that forced the band to rethink who they were and how they present themselves. (They got robbed before their European tour actually started, you might have heard of it).Live, No Kings Allowed thrives on connection. Their shows move fluidly between intensity and release, pulling the crowd into something shared rather than something observed. It’s heavy music that invites you to be part of it. On Hellfort!

Thrash was declared clinically dead many times, but anno 2026 it’s still raging wildly - and Harlott are happily adding fuel to the fire. And how! The speed they play with will leave you breathless. We first crossed paths with Harlott in 2015, and the love was instant and permanent. Touring with Annihilator brought them to Belgium and they played Pitfest in Holland more than once. In their home country they headline thrash festivals for fun; abroad they leave many a scorch mark. Add countless shared stages with other heavy hitters like Sepultura, Havok, Accept, Death Angel, Onslaught and you get the picture: these guys don’t do warm-ups, they do damage. Their last European run was in 2023.This time, one bold instagram message asking if they happened to be in Europe led to this point: Harlott are having the grand finale of their European new album tour at Hellfort, closing their raid (with Struck a nerve) on our festival. Couldn't be more proud.Straight out of Australia, our favorite metal kangaroos will make you jump on new songs and their classics. They proudly present their fifth studio album. We proudly present you Harlott!

Yes, on paper Traels might be the lightest band on the Hellfort line-up, but do not mistake that for a breather. Their music builds up — with calmer passages carried by the drummer’s vocals that would feel right at home in progressive rock — but when the throttle gets twisted, things turn properly heavy. At Hellfort, Traels will present brand-new material alongside the tracks we already love. That alone makes this show one to circle in red. Expect a pre-release set, or — if the albums lands just in time — an actual album release show. Either way: hearing songs before most people do, is always the good kind of dangerous. We caught them live at JH Comma and were sold within minutes. Not just because of the sound — warm, layered, powerful — but because of the maturity they radiated on stage. They don't figure things out in front of an audience. They know exactly who they are and how hard they want to hit. A live presence that punches well above its weight and blends progressive metal, post-rock, and the occasional touch of djent. This one will leave marks on your Hellfort trail.

Slaughter The Giant does not knock politely. They kick the door off its hinges and set the room on fire. Shoot first, apologise (maybe) later. Just death fucking metal from Aarschot, Belgium.Since 2018, this five-headed wrecking crew has been busy turning underground and bigger stages into demolition sites. Their sound balances melody and brutality like a bar fight. Think atmosphere but with a body count.Live, Slaughter The Giant are all gas, no brakes. Just ask the people who saw them tear through Alcatraz Open Air or those who witnessed them holding their own as support for grindcore legends Napalm Death. Spoiler: nobody left refreshed. Three albums so far and appreciation of the crowd is growing steadily. In 2025, that approach earned them the 89th spot in the Radio Willy Staalhard Top 100, with the track “Alien Abduction.” We’re sharing the video below on our website, because some things are better experienced with volume, visuals and zero regard for your neighbours.

There have always been criminal judges, but this one is playing hard since 1989, straight from Limburg.
Yes, some of you were still in diapers. No polish, but straight-forward riffs that bite.
Formed in 1989, Criminal Judge quickly grew into a serious force within the Belgian metal underground. Inspired by Bay Area thrash but never copying it blindly, the band mixed American-style aggression with just enough melody to keep you moving. After a decade of battles in clubs and on stages, the engine briefly stalled. Battle jackets were hung up, amps went silent. Until January 2020. Because bands like this don’t retire — they reload. Reborn with a line-up that knows exactly how to deliver sharp riffs and zero excuses, Criminal Judge is once again locked in and dangerous.New songs and shows are coming.
Make no mistake: Limburg is coming to take over West-Flanders. No negotiations, no warning shots, so we all need you to stand our ground. Hellfort is just another battle ground!

Sometimes just one song is enough to convince. Think Metallica shaking hands with Pantera, accidentally knocking over Suicidal Tendencies and Trivium.Steamroller did it wth their eponymous track on Spotify. And with the promise more is to come in 2026.Steamroller rose from the ashes of Kill Corruption. This enthousiastic five-piece has a mission: not to show off how many guitar scales they can cram into a solo. Other bands can audition for conservatory bragging rights. Steamroller is here for something much nobler: to make you headbang, mosh, scream along, and walk home with a neck stiffer than your ex’s upper lip.Lyrically, they couldn’t care less about the usual metal playground of demons, apocalypse fanfiction or whatever Satan's PR department is pushing these days. Steamroller digs into things that actually matter: social status, resilience, the mess we make of our own choices...If you’re anywhere near the front row when their show starts, it’s already too late.

We gladly present you not just another Bruges band, but a high-quality one.
Yes! Alludence will take the stage of Hellfort.Alludence brings modern metalcore and with their single Oceans they prove to be on the right track. These four friends have a passion for bands like Architects, Bring me the Horizon and Northlane. They rightfully profile themselves as new kids on the block in Belgian music, although the members have spent many years in multiple musical projects.A warm welcome in the line-up of Hellfort, boys.

Spewed forth onto the scene, STRUCK A NERVE have delivered the most pummelling, savage, and fresh thrash metal the world has heard in a long time.
With their debut album they are tearing a path through the scene like a sonic tornado.Driven purely by the truest underground spirit, they have sold out shows, broken every neck and are set to become a leading force in thrash. This is only the start. STRUCK A NERVE are placing themselves at the top of the food chain and the metal world is discovering a new apex predator.Drawing on a hardcore and brutal thrash background including the likes of Sodom, Demolition Hammer, Power Trip, Enforced, and Slayer, this all-star thrash band have the opportunity to show you their pedigree with the forthcoming album (released: nov. 28th), a modern classic.Their performance at Hellfort will be their first show ever on Belgian soil. We're pretty sure in ten years from now, in some rockumentary, they'll think back of those festivals where they were welcomed for the first time. The stars are already aligning to make that happen: Best metal album in december in Aardschok, cover mention in Rock Tribune and spotify monthly users skyrocketing. Can't wait for this Nocturnal terror to happen on their Parade of violence...

Signs Of Algorithm delivers a dynamic blend of melodic yet hard-hitting metalcore, seamlessly balancing raw aggression with atmospheric depth. Founded in Belgium, the band has been a relentless force in the metal scene for over a decade.
2025 Signs Of Algorithm strikes back - stronger, fiercer, and armed with their brand-new album Sunchaser, mixed and mastered by Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Lorna Shore, Polaris). Expect an explosive blend of metalcore and deathcore - a perfect balance between raw power and melody. With more than a decade of experience, over 300 shows, and an unwavering passion for their craft, Signs Of Algorithm continues to push the boundaries of metalcore and captivate audiences worldwide.Experience: 6 European tours with performances at major festivals such us Metaldays, Graspop Metal Meeting, Alcatraz Open Air, ...
Toured with: Carnifex, Kataklysm, Bury Tomorrow, Texas In July & many more.

The Bruges bulldozers of Wryngd are opening Hellfort — and trust us: it won't be a soft landing. Since their first performance in 2023, these likeable troublemakers have built up a reputation that smells of sweat, beer and molten metal. Their diptych Interrormezzo I & II is a showcase of everything thrash, groove and progressive metal has to offer, but with a sharp edge that “wring” a little.
So don't expect a warm-up, but an uppercut that your eardrums and neck vertebrae will be talking about for weeks. Wryngd is tight, sharp and hungry. In short: Hellfort opens with a whirlwind. Take a deep breath just before they start, because afterwards you won't be able to.

Word partner van HellfortBouw mee aan het eerste metalfestival van Brugge
Waarom Hellfort?Meteen to the point?
